VLOS project is not dead, I'm working alone again and I succesfully built alpha1 of the upcoming VLOS release, but for now is only available for amd64. Changes include:

  • new gnome-2.22 with all new features
  • pidgin-2.4.1
  • kernel zen-sources-2.6.25
  • brasero-0.7.1
  • rhythmbox-0.11.5
  • new baselayout-2.0 with openrc (much faster boot times)
  • transmission-1.21 bittorent client
  • gimp-2.4.5
